About Mahachi Academy
Each film tells one person’s whole life in about two minutes, in illustrations. Each has a page here with the story in brief, the person’s own words, the sources and the full transcript. The films and pages are free, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Hindi.
How each life is made
Each film starts with research: a fact sheet built from biographies, archives, interviews and the person’s own writing, with every claim checked against its source. The script follows the life forward in time and gives its achievements and its costs in proportion to the evidence, without lectures. Every page lists its sources.
Who makes it
Mahachi Academy is a project of The Mahachi Family Foundation, founded and funded by Panashe Mahachi. It has no connection to the Mahachi Foundation started by the footballer Kudakwashe Mahachi.
